Youth and Sports announces a plan to develop and expand the Artificial Grass Company “Captex”

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced its acquisition of the shares of the Egyptian Artificial Grass Company “Captex” equally with the Ministry of Military Production. The share of each ministry in the company’s shares will become 50%, in light of the endeavor to develop the company’s performance, enhance the value of sports investment, and increase production rates during the coming period.

This came through the acquisition by Al-Modon Sports and Youth Services Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, of 3.5% of the shares of the Industrial Grass Company, in addition to increasing the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ share of the company’s shares through the National Finance Fund for Youth, Youth and Sports Welfare.

The artificial turf company in Egypt, “Captex”, is one of the largest companies specialized in this field, in cooperation with the German company “Politan”, which is accredited by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). The company provides artificial turf for various uses, whether landscaping for public parks and football fields. Approved by FIFA. Five-a-side football fields and legal dimensions throughout the Republic as an Egyptian industry.

In accordance with the vision of the Ministries of Youth, Sports and Military Production, the artificial turf company aims to expand and spread further at the local and continental levels, provide better services, and meet the needs of the markets, as the company – during the last period – exported artificial turf to some African countries, in addition to providing artificial turf for parks and playgrounds. Youth centers whose development is included within the plan of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

It is scheduled that the coming period will include expanding the company’s fields of work and increasing its contributions to the establishment of new stadiums affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in clubs, youth centers and open stadiums, as well as maximizing the benefit of its investment returns as one of the most important tributaries of sports investment in developing the Egyptian sports infrastructure.
